As we close the Fall 2024 Mays Landing Cornhole League season, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what has been a truly remarkable season, full of fierce competition, unforgettable moments, and the undeniable spirit of community.

Championship Tournament Highlights
Bracket A
The championship tournament was a battle to the end. In Bracket A, the competition reached new heights. Landi Pools & Games, despite an early loss to 4 Bags 1 Hole Vol 3, made an impressive comeback in the finals.
Josh from Landi Pools & Games showed true grit and determination, defeating Joey from 4 Bags 1 Hole Vol 3 in two consecutive matches to claim the championship title. This victory cements the team’s legacy, setting a new benchmark in Bracket A.
One Guy and His Side Piece made their presence known by coming out strong and securing a well-earned third-place finish.
Meanwhile, American Construction capped off their strong season with a place in the top four, reinforcing their reputation as a formidable contender.
Bracket B
Bracket B was equally captivating. The Landi family made waves yet again as Broad Street Baggers captured the championship.
Husk and a Half, a team that had faced challenges in previous seasons, delivered a standout performance.
Their journey from seasons of struggle to runners-up this year was one of sheer perseverance as they fought through the losers’ bracket with unmatched tenacity.
Sack Attack, a team without much league or tournament experience, defied expectations by claiming third place. Their surprising rise proved that talent and heart can take you far in this league.
Memorable Moments of the Season
This season saw some unexpected turns. The reigning champions of both brackets faced early eliminations, shaking up the standings and giving new teams a shot at the spotlight. It was clear that the competitive field was wide open, creating an exciting atmosphere.
The championship matches were a true showcase of skill and determination, highlighted by close scores that kept players and spectators on edge until the end.
The Landi family celebrated a dual victory, winning Brackets A and B, a testament to their unmatched skill and teamwork.
