The Summer 2025 season came to a close on Thursday, August 21, after yet another weather delay pushed back our original championship date. Rain on Thursdays seemed to define this season from the very first week through to the finals, and we sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience and flexibility as we navigated those changes.
A total of 25 out of 29 teams competed for the championship, with Brewsual Suspects, Not Responsibles, Bourbon Bandits, Cock Sox, Franny A’s, and Miller Time absent on the night.
Despite the setbacks, the energy on the boards was unmatched, and the finals provided the perfect conclusion to a memorable summer.
Bracket A: BagStreet Boys Crowned Champions
BagStreet Boys are your A Bracket Champions, capping off their summer with a dramatic rise from fifth seed in the playoffs to the top of the podium. Their ability to step up in the biggest moments separated them from the field.
Cornflakes, who had finished first in the playoff standings, settled into second place overall. They were consistently strong all season long and pushed the champions to the edge. JERSEY DEVIL BRO’S rounded out the top three after entering the championship from the second seed.
The Blueys and Greenies have arrived, and we are waiting for the BagStreet Boys’ nameplate to complete the plaque at Freddy J’s. This permanent honor will join the champions of Summer 2023 and Summer 2024, ensuring their victory is remembered for seasons to come.

Bracket B: Sack Attack Secures the Title
Sack Attack’s championship run in the B Bracket was one of the biggest surprises of the season. After finishing 11th in the playoffs, they surged up ten spots to claim the top prize.
Even though they joked, they may not have belonged in the B Bracket had they shown up more consistently earlier in the season.
Our prior B Bracket champions, Fairview Chiropractic and Wellness, LLC, proved their staying power by finishing second and locking yet another top-three finish.
Mud Crickets rounded out the top three, holding onto their strong position from earlier rounds.
