What a week it’s been! Last week, we had to cancel week 2 due to a 70% chance of rain and a thunderstorm watch, only to end up with great weather. That’s the downside of canceling early, but it set the stage for an action-packed week with six thrilling games, almost like a doubleheader. The fun flew by with great excitement and camaraderie. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made these weeks unforgettable.
Highlights from Weeks 2.5 and 3
These weeks were incredibly fun, with six games keeping everyone engaged and on their toes. The fast-paced matches brought out the best in every team. Game of Throws celebrated their first win, defeating the Hula Girls 21-12, adding a new level of excitement to their season. Four teams swept the doubleheader this week: Jersey Cartel, Lucky Sacks, Mannheim Mayhem, and Whale Wars.
Two Remaining Undefeated Teams

League Notes
Airmail Challenge
We will take sign-ups for the Airmail Challenge when you sign in. This exciting 50/50 challenge helps the Mays Landing Food Pantry and allows you to win a cumulative pot. Tickets are $5 for 1 ticket, $10 for 3 tickets, and $20 for 7 tickets. We choose two winners each week. The first person chosen will have the choice of shooting first or second. Each person will throw a bean bag of their choice into an airmail challenge hole from 35 feet away. If they toss 1 bag in, they get 25% of the pot. If they toss both bags in, they receive 50% of the pot. The other shooter also has a chance to achieve this as well. The same person can be both shooters if their ticket is drawn twice. If they miss, the amount raised will be rolled over to next week.

A friendly reminder to all our players and spectators: please be mindful of recycling. We must respect our beautiful surroundings by properly disposing of bottles and not just tossing bottle caps around. Your cooperation in keeping our venue clean and green is greatly appreciated.
