Week 2 of the Fall 2024 season is in the books, and what a fantastic week it was! The weather was perfect for cornhole, and we had a full house with all 38 teams showing up to compete. Thanks to everyone for making it out and bringing the energy!
A Few Apologies and Exciting Updates
First, an apology: Unfortunately, the team shirts didn’t come in this week. Our T-shirt vendor didn’t anticipate the last-minute addition of over 10 teams on the day of the season’s start, and with every team having a unique color, it took a bit longer than expected. But don’t worry! The team shop is now officially online, where you can purchase your team shirt, sweatshirt, long-sleeve shirt, or hoodie. This is an additional option to the league shirts provided to all teams.
Highlights from Week 2
Five teams went undefeated this week, but only three have managed to stay undefeated for the entire season so far: American Construction, Corn Baggins, and 2 Dubs.
Shoutout to Corn Muffins, Bucca and Beer, and Me So Corny for earning their first wins this season! Keep it up!
It was a nail-biting week, with just 1 point separating 1st from 2nd and 2nd from 3rd for this week’s winners.
Airmail Challenge Update
Unfortunately, no one signed up for the Airmail Challenge this week. The pot still stands at $25 for charity and $12.50 to win. Last week, Josh from Landi Pools and Games hit the challenge and took home $12.50. We hope to see more of you step up and try your luck next week!
