We’ve reached the halfway mark of the regular season, and Week 4 did not disappoint. Despite being the coldest night yet, the turnout was the best we’ve seen all season.
For the first time this spring, all 42 teams showed up in some form, filling the lanes with energy, competition, and plenty of friendly trash talk.
Whether it was teams looking to bounce back, others trying to hold onto their top-tier status, or a few just chasing their first win, Week 4 had a bit of everything and then some.
The season is heating up even if the weather isn’t, and with just four weeks to go before playoffs, every game matters more than ever.
From shakeups in the top 5 to milestone wins across the board, the Spring 2025 Mays Landing Cornhole League is delivering its most competitive season yet.
Highlights from Week 4
Seven teams went undefeated this week, showcasing some serious skills despite the cold temperatures. Our third, fourth, and fifth-place rankings were so close that positions came down to how many points were scored against each team. Talk about competition heating up!
After four weeks of play, we have only one undefeated team: Glory Hole. Unfortunately, Broad Street Baggers suffered their first and second losses, while Sweetwater Slingers took their first, second, and third losses of the season.
A special shoutout to Tree Surgeons, who earned their first undefeated week of the season. Great job!
Movement in the Standings
It was a massive week for Sofrito & Sazon, who entered the top three overall standings for the first time since Week 1. Red BarN’s Finest also impressively jumped into the top three for the first time, climbing four positions from last week.
Congratulations are in order for Hawaiian Punch Baggers, Team ELITE, and Corn-inthians 13, who all secured their first wins of the season this week. Now, every team officially has at least one win under their belt. Fantastic work, everyone!
Please Return Your Buckets
We know the buckets are awesome. You like them. You want to take one home as a keepsake. It makes sense. It’s a cool moment, and they’re functional, too. But we ask that you please return them so we can have enough each week for everyone. Let’s make sure every team gets to enjoy them all season long. We appreciate the help.
