Hello there, Cornhole enthusiasts! We’ve got some thrilling updates from the double-header of Weeks 5 and 6 of the Summer 2023 Mays Landing Cornhole League season. It was a sweltering fortnight, but our players were all in, serving up intense matches and high stakes Cornhole. If you missed the action, sit back and get ready for the highlights.

Now, let’s dive into the games! The most notable upset was our top contender, JSquared, who faced their first loss of the season against American Construction in a close game that ended 21-17.
Dat Couple 609 continued their impressive winning streak, with a particularly strong performance against Husk and a Half, winning by a staggering 25-0. American Construction showed their mettle, too, notching up victories including an impressive 26-4 win against Tossing Fools.
Team Landi and Cornholio also demonstrated their Cornhole prowess, with Team Landi securing a resounding 29-5 win against MD Assassins, and Cornholio besting Corn Dawgz 23-2.
Bags on Boards and Ace Holes had an intense face-off, with Bags on Boards edging out a win with a score of 22-20. Title Tossin Twosome and All In battled it out in a close game that saw All In snag a 21-20 victory.
In the realm of major blowouts, Title Tossin Twosome dominated We So Corny with a score of 23-8. Team Landi showed no mercy to Beer Pressure, trouncing them with a 29-5 scoreline. 4 Bags 1 Hole made a statement with a 23-0 win over All In, and Tossing Fools did not hold back against Corn Muffins, sealing the game with a score of 21-0.
Sadly, Corn Bulbs, Cornhall Junkies, Gonna Cream You, and Loveshack faced a tough fortnight, each recording six losses due to their absence. We look forward to their return in the upcoming weeks!
Despite the heat and the back-to-back games, everyone delivered an amazing performance. And that’s not all – the love for the game was so strong that teams were eager to play even after six games! This is the spirit of the Mays Landing Cornhole League – intense competition, non-stop action, and a thirst for more!
