It was a beautiful sunny Sunday for Week 7 of the Fall 2024 Mays Landing Cornhole League and the competition was as fierce as ever! We had 31 teams show up to compete, and the energy was electric all afternoon.
Unfortunately, a few teams couldn’t make it: Maybe Next Time!, Master Baggers, Glitter Bears, Got Your Six, Corn Flakes, Wander Women, and Bucca and Beer. We missed you but are excited to see everyone back for the playoffs!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out on a Sunday for Week 7. It was a great time, and we couldn’t have asked for better vibes.
Playoff Brackets Are Set
After much deliberation and feedback from the teams, we’ve slightly adjusted to the playoff brackets. Initially, the top 24 teams were set to go into the A Bracket and the bottom 14 into the B Bracket. However, the brackets have been changed to ensure the games remain competitive and fair. Now, the top 16 teams will advance to the A Bracket, while the bottom 22 teams will compete in the B Bracket.
We appreciate everyone’s input in helping us make this decision, and we believe this adjustment will keep the competition exciting for all teams!
No More Substitutes Allowed
As we head into the playoffs, no more substitutes are allowed. Teams will only compete within their respective brackets for the next two weeks, which will determine their ranking for the double-elimination tournament.
Important Updates for the Next Two Weeks
Today and next Thursday (October 24th) mark the start of the playoffs! Get ready for two weeks of intense action as teams battle within their brackets to secure their rankings for the championship.
Please mark your calendars: Our championship tournament will be on Sunday, October 27th, at 3 PM, NOT 2 PM. Every team will compete in a double-elimination format to determine the winners of the Fall 2024 season.
Every team qualifies for the championships. The top 3 of each bracket win prizes and trophies!
