This week delivered a fascinating mix of strategic depth, nail-biting finishes, and a surprise or two to keep us all on our toes. Let’s dive into the action! The week started with a close match between the Tossing Fools and Corn Muffins. After a back-and-forth game, the Tossing Fools emerged victorious with a score of 22-19.
Despite practicing daily on their newly purchased boards, the underdogs, Husk and a Half, met a formidable adversary in Cornholio. It was a closely contested match, with Cornholio narrowly taking the win at 23-17.
JSquared, despite their best efforts, couldn’t pull a win against DatCouple609. The final score read 23-12, a testament to DatCouple609‘s skills and a reminder that there are no easy games in this league.
In another nail-biting clash, Team Landi faced off against American Construction. A tough match for both teams, with Team Landi coming out on top with a score of 23-11.
A fascinating contest emerged between 4 Bags 1 Hole and Bags on Boards. The suspense lasted until the final toss, with 4 Bags 1 Hole clinching the win at 22-19.
MD Assassins demonstrated why they’re a force to be reckoned with in the league, having won their games convincingly. Their match against the Title Tossin Twosome showed off their abilities, ending with MD Assassins on top.
The match between Beer Pressure and Corn Flakes was another exciting encounter. Beer Pressure demonstrated their resolve in this game with a 21-2 victory.
Ace Holes and All In faced their own challenges throughout the week, with closely contested matches against strong opponents. Despite their best efforts, they couldn’t secure a win this week.
The week didn’t bring good news for We So Corny, as they had a tough time scoring points and securing wins. We look forward to seeing them bounce back in the next week.
Unfortunately, we missed seeing Corn Dawgz, Corn Bulbs, Cornhall Junkies, Gonna Cream You, and Loveshack on the field. We eagerly await their return and look forward to their performances in the upcoming weeks.
