It was a chilly Week 8 of the Fall 2024 Mays Landing Cornhole League and the first week of playoffs did not disappoint! The colder weather marked the beginning of true fall, but that didn’t stop the competition from being as fierce as ever. The energy was intense all afternoon, with every throw counting as we inch closer to the championship.
With 35 teams showing up to play, the energy was electric all afternoon. Unfortunately, we missed a few teams: The Corndoggs, Glitter Bears, and Corn Muffins, but we hope to see them back soon! We had 31 teams show up for the action, though we missed The Corndoggs, Glitter Bears, and Corn Muffins. Hopefully, we’ll see them back on the boards soon!

We want to extend a big thank you to everyone who participated in the vote. The results are in; the Championship date remains this Sunday, October 27th, at 3 PM. Thanks to all of you for helping democratize this exciting championship!
Important Updates: Week 9 Today & Championship on Sunday
Week 9 continues today as teams face off to finalize their playoff rankings. After today, we’ll move straight into the Championship Tournament this Sunday, October 27th, at 3 PM. Remember that every team qualifies for the championship, and the top 3 of each bracket will take home trophies and prizes.
No More Substitutes Allowed
As we head into the playoffs, no more substitutes are allowed. Teams will only compete within their respective brackets for the next two weeks, which will determine their ranking for the double-elimination tournament.
Race for the Championship
It’s still anyone’s game as we head into the season’s final stretch. With every throw and win counting more than ever, we’re excited to see who will take home the Fall 2024 Bluey and be crowned champion!
